sticks and cell phones - drawing is design

I have spent the past 3 drawing classes (9/25, 9/30, 10/2) working on a project that involves drawing by design. The assignment, pictured below, involves drawing different views of both a stick and my cell phone, altering those views (through exaggerating, simplifying, rotating, adding and subtracting), and then combining them, and then altering those combinations.


Below are my first twig drawings followed by my first cell phone drawings.


Next are 64 twig drawings followed by 64 cell phone drawings each is individually based on the previous drawings above.


Next I combined elements from the 2 previous drawings below

I then I reworked the above elements into the drawings below.


Finally, I created a final composition of 4.
