1st Floor Plans

The following exercises are plan views of the first floor of a house. The picture below is a plan view that was constructed from a pictorial view.



The next plan view was produced from a drawing done in a smaller scale.

Next, I placed tracing paper over the previous drawing. I traced the drawing using a hierarchy of line weights to convey depth. Then, I darkened or poched the cut elements to furthur provide clarity to the drawing.



This final drawing was done on with a half inch border on the top and sides and a 3 quarter inch border on the bottom. An official labeling system was done on the right side of the page (rotated in the pictured below).
